Bangladesh faced a heartbreaking four-run loss to South Africa in their T20 World Cup match at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Monday. Despite the defeat, Bangladesh remains hopeful of advancing to the Super 8s with games against the Netherlands and Nepal ahead.
South Africa virtually secured their place in the Super 8s as spinner Keshav Maharaj defended 11 runs in the final over, sealing a four-run victory in a low-scoring Group D clash. South Africa has won all three of their games, while Bangladesh has one win and one loss.

Bangladesh is also in a good position to advance with upcoming matches against the Netherlands and Nepal. They started with a win over Sri Lanka and are currently in second place in Group D.
