In a thrilling match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) managed to edge past Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by four runs, thanks to Harshit Rana’s outstanding final over.
Henrich Klassen played a superb innings, scoring 63 runs off just 29 balls, and his partnership with Shabaz Ahmed looked promising for SRH. However, Rana’s exceptional bowling in the final over changed the game in KKR’s favor. Rana also contributed with three wickets earlier in the match.
Andre Russell also played a crucial role for KKR, delivering impactful performances with both bat and ball. Despite getting starts, SRH batsmen couldn’t convert them into big scores and lost wickets at crucial junctures, leading to their downfall in the end.
