Mohammad Rizwan from Pakistan made history in cricket by becoming the quickest player to score 3,000 runs in Twenty20 international matches. He achieved this milestone during Pakistan’s match against New Zealand.
Rizwan reached 3,000 runs in his 79th innings, which is faster than Babar Azam and Virat Kohli, who both took 81 innings to achieve the same feat.
During the match against New Zealand, Rizwan played a crucial innings of 45 not out, helping Pakistan win the game by seven wickets while chasing a target of 91 runs.
Rizwan is now the eighth player overall to score more than 3,000 runs in Twenty20 internationals. Currently, Virat Kohli holds the record with 4,037 runs in 117 matches.
With this victory, Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series against New Zealand.
