After losing to Sri Lanka in the T20I series, Bangladesh is ready to bounce back in the ODI series starting on March 13 in Chattogram.
Bangladesh had some good moments in the T20Is but fell short in the third match, losing the series 2-1. Towhid Hridoy, a key player, is excited to perform well.
“We really want to win this series. We all feel it’s important, especially after losing the T20 series. If we give our best, something good will happen,” said Hridoy in a video posted by the BCB.
The ODI squad practiced in Sylhet and Chattogram to prepare for the series. Hridoy mentioned that the players are in good form and have acclimatized to the conditions.
“The players are ready. We had some time after the T20Is to adjust, and I think it’s enough to get used to the conditions,” he added.
Despite a hattrick by Nuwan Thushara in the third T20I, Hridoy is focused on the upcoming ODI series.
“We need to learn from our mistakes and do better in the upcoming matches,” he said.
Hridoy had a great performance in the BPL but remains focused on the present.
“I had some good performances before, but now I need to do well on the day of the match. The better I play, the better it will be for my team,” he stated.
