Travis Head, from Australia, played an amazing innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He scored 89 runs off just 32 balls, helping his team reach a huge total of 266-7 against Delhi Capitals. Hyderabad won the match by 67 runs.
Head’s performance was outstanding, and he was well-supported by Abhishek Sharma. They hit many sixes together and made a fast start to the innings. Hyderabad reached 100 runs in just five overs and 125 in six overs.
Although Delhi’s Kuldeep Yadav took some wickets, Shahbaz Ahmed and Nitish Kumar Reddy played well to keep Hyderabad’s score high. In the end, Ahmed scored an unbeaten 59 runs and helped his team set a big target.
When Delhi came to bat, they struggled against Hyderabad’s bowling attack. Although Prithvi Shaw hit some boundaries, Hyderabad’s Washington Sundar took important wickets. Despite some good batting from Jake Fraser-McGurk and Abhishek Porel, Delhi couldn’t chase down the target and lost the match.
Hyderabad’s victory has moved them up to second place in the IPL standings.
